Risby Village Hall Charity Trust

A Village Resource for All

Today in 2009 Risby Village Hall is well used both by village and local clubs has a thriving Pre-School, is well used by the local Primary School for indoor sporting activities and afterschool clubs. Just 5 miles west of Bury St Edmunds along the A14 it is easy to access by car and for local people there is a good bus service from town as well.

A favourite venue for Children's Parties with room for children's entertainers, games and of course room to run around and get rid of all that energy without wrecking your home and worrying about the best china!

Over the last 5 years with the aid of grants and much fundraising via Indoor Car Boot Sales and our Gift Horse Appeal who organise events for "fun and funds" the hall and children's play area has been much improved with new kitchen, toilets, windows, doors and redecoration and most recently a new roof and suspended ceiling together with refurbished sprung wooden floor to the much larger hall makes this one of the most desirable Community venues in Suffolk. With ample parking, use of catering facilities and a choice of two halls (or even both) there is space for just about any event from a small meeting to concerts, dinner dance for 200+ or exhibitions.
